Integrative Counsellor | Clinical Hypnotherapist
A personal journey into helping others
For a long time, I didn’t feel like I was enough.
I wore a brave face, did what was expected, and pushed through. But underneath, I was anxious, disconnected, and quietly struggling. I didn’t know how to say, “I’m not okay.” I thought healing was something that happened to other people.
But when I finally gave myself permission to stop pretending and start feeling, everything began to shift.
My journey into therapy wasn’t just a career move; it was personal. I know what it’s like to untangle old pain and to feel fear in your body, not just your thoughts. My own experience has shaped the warmth and care I bring to this work, alongside my professional training. Your story will be your own, and I will take time to understand it.

How I Work
I offer a gentle, welcoming space where you can bring your thoughts, feelings, uncertainties and the parts of yourself you may find difficult to share elsewhere. You do not need to have everything worked out before we begin.
As an integrative counsellor, I draw on different therapeutic approaches and adapt our work to your needs. We might explore earlier experiences, notice a pattern in your relationships, make room for grief, or focus on something that is happening in your life now.
I work collaboratively, with warmth, curiosity and honesty. We will talk about what you want from counselling and check in on how the work feels for you. There is room to slow down, ask questions and change direction.
Relationships, Self-Worth and Finding Your Way Forward
I work with individuals, couples and young people, with a particular interest in relationships, repeating patterns, self-worth and confidence.
Perhaps you find yourself putting others first, struggling to express your needs, or feeling anxious when someone pulls away. You may be carrying the effects of trauma or other difficult experiences, or questioning why the same situations keep returning.
In individual counselling, we can explore how these experiences have shaped your relationship with yourself and others. With couples, I help both partners feel heard and make sense of the patterns beneath conflict, withdrawal or disconnection.
With young people, I offer space to explore the pressures of growing up, relationships, identity and confidence, at a pace that respects their needs and perspective.

A Little About Me
I’m a therapist, a mother and a reflective person who understands how much can sit beneath the appearance of coping.
Before becoming a counsellor and hypnotherapist, I spent many years in marketing and product development. I also gained experience in early years settings. Over time, my interest in people, emotional wellbeing and what helps us feel more connected led me to retrain as a psychotherapeutic counsellor and clinical hypnotherapist.
My experience includes volunteering as a youth counsellor within an NHS service and working in life skills programmes supporting adults and young people with learning disabilities and autism. I have also supported people affected by trauma.
These experiences have strengthened my respect for the different ways people communicate, cope and find their way through difficult times. I aim to meet you with openness and care, without assuming I already know what your experience means.
Other Ways I Can Support You
Alongside counselling, I offer hypnotherapy, Integral Eye Movement Therapy (IEMT) and Inner Child Healing. These provide different ways to explore anxiety, fears, confidence, self-worth and emotional patterns. I also offer talking sessions supported by personalised hypnotherapy recordings between appointments.
You can explore these under Other Services, or ask about them during an introductory call.
Taking the First Step
Choosing a therapist is personal. A free introductory call gives you a chance to ask questions, tell me a little about what has brought you here and get a feel for how I work.
You are welcome to begin wherever you are.
