About
Hello! My name is Laura.
As an experienced therapist, my goal is to empower individuals to improve their quality of life. With extensive experience assisting children and families in various capacities, I now volunteer as a trainee counsellor focusing on youth therapy. Understanding the significant influence of anxiety and depression in family dynamics, I sought further training to aid those seeking help by utilising alternative therapies to address challenges. This journey has motivated me to offer support to others experiencing difficulties or persistent negative cycles.
With qualifications in Hypnotherapy, Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), and Integral Eye Movement Therapy (IEMT), I aim to guide individuals towards a more fulfilling life.
To ensure a personalised and effective therapeutic journey, I customise every session to address the individual requirements of my clients. With a background in supporting neurodivergent children, including those with Autism, ADHD, and individuals with learning disabilities, I consistently adjust sessions to cater to their unique needs.
My expertise in communicating with children and young people helps me build strong connections, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment during our sessions. I utilise creative approaches to engage younger clients, making our interactions enjoyable and calming.
I am fully insured and hold an enhanced DBS, and I am a professional member of the National Hypnotherapy Society and The Association for IEMT Practitioners.
